Hoshi Kara Chan is a conversational AI avatar: character art and a persona expressed through language and movement.

Originally used as an AI sidekick for a popular Japanese horoscope podcaster Ayako (recent experiments), our goal now is to build a community of early adopters for our no-code development platform for conversational AI avatars, lively.ai.

→ What is Hoshi Kara Chan NFT?

It's a utility token that enables access to lively.ai, a no-code cloud platform for developing conversational AI avatars.

→ Who designed Hoshi Kara Chan?

Hoshi Kara Chan’s design results from our collaboration with the local Kansai artist TAKA and Ayako Hei, the host of a popular Japanese horoscope podcast. Part of the proceeds from NFT sales will go towards supporting our ongoing collaboration.

→ Will there be other avatar designs?

Yes! We plan to introduce other avatars and the ability to exchange/breed the avatar’s appearance and personality.

→ Are you real?

We like to think so ;) We are in the business of building conversational AI solutions for real-world problems. Here’s our company's website and the official press release.

→ Why is the avatar artwork not a realistic human or anime character?

At the moment, we’re focusing on conversational AI and developer tools. Avatars with realistic human appearances tend to misrepresent the level of "intelligence" and lead to inflated expectations. Our goal is to build a community of early adopters who will stick with us for a while. So, we aim to be transparent about Hoshi Kara Chan’s current and future abilities (and limitations).

→ Where can I deploy my AI live streamer?

AI live streamer renders in your browser so that you can deploy it in a web app or a stream via an OBS. With a bit of coding (you'll get an API), you can deploy it anywhere else you like.

→ Are there any extra fees?

Token holders receive a lively.ai membership plan which includes a quota for API requests that should be sufficient for development and testing. If your avatar gets famous and runs out of allocated requests, additional API quota will be available for purchase.
